We strongly believe that a custom plan should be drawn so that the water sprinkler system will match the landscape, pool, patio, etc.   Any Irrigation company can come in and cover the ground with water.   Later as Landscaping, a pool, deck, walk ways, and plants are added there may be significant problems with large rotors firing into delicate plants, knocking the leaves off, flooding plants that don't like a lot of water and so on.   There is a small charge to have a plan drawn which is deducted from any work. In the long run, the additional planning will pay for itself many times over as the landscape, pool package, deck, etc. proceed. 

Also, we see many homeowners that lose entire front or back yard systems because they never purchased an accurate irrigation plan from their installer.   When utilities come through on their easements, or a pool company comes in and build a pool nobody knows where the pipes, control cables, valves, are located.   Sure everyone wants a free bid, and a cheap price. A lot of our competitors use such poor quality parts that they don't want to spend much time comparing gear.   Also, many competitors know they can't draw a plan for free because they can't make the sale in one trip to the clients home.   They'll have to return with the plan on a second trip.   This process takes Habitats by Harper about 8-10 hours and thus most Irrigation companies simply won't bother with drawing a plan.
